Blah,Blah,Blahg

HELLO....

It's almost Mother's day and I am proud to be a 'mom' to my two 'dogters'.  My camera shy George could not, okay would not participate in my annoying picture taking (yes, I admit I am a tourist in my own home, 'hey honey did you ever notice that couch over there in that room, so exotic, must take a photo for posterity....) Anyway, I leave you this Mother's Day with a pic of my supermodel baby Bella, a.k.a. Beefy....Happy Mother's Day!!!

THE ENVELOPE PLEASE...

Now that I fully embraced (today) this 100th 'calling' as paper designer (we can go through the other 99 another day...)  I have been actively researching all my options in paper creativity.  I am thoroughly into envelope making because A) it sounded like something I'd like to do and B) I don't have any more friends (we can discuss that subject another day as well).  So for now, I can share with you some of my finds in this fine art.

Let me start with this, a recipe for envelope glue.  Why you ask did I start with that? Well dear, if you are anything like moi you have an attention span of a gnat and will jump right into the envelope making and then will stumped on how to seal it in order to actually put the darn thing in the mail.  A tiny sticker just won't do, unless of course you want all the contents falling out and someone knowing that your nickname is stinky bottom or something (only thing I could think of).

You are going to need to make some templates or buy them (lucky for you to have moola to purchase these necessities)  I had to make my own.  Lucky for you I found this incredible resource and she also happens to be completely organized and seemingly has a much, much longer attention span.  Envelope resource mother lode here..

PHEW!

A lot has changed since TypePad put me on restriction for not having a valid credit card number.  Oh it was valid all right, it just wasn't working.  Ah, to be going into middle age and still not be fiscally responsible--sigh... Well, as I always like to say 'Do as I say and not as I do', it's much more fun the other way around, but fun doesn't always pay the rent.  I am trying though!  Speaking of fun I have been very busy at the Bella Bella Co. with the Couture Correspondence.  Who knew that people would actually pay for my little ol' cards?  It thrills me to no end.  Miss Ashley G.  (no relation to Ali G.) said that a blog is essential to her success and since she CAN pay her rent doing something fun, I will follow in her lead and see where it takes (lets hope I can remember to pay my credit card in time...)
