What was life like B.E. (before Etsy)? I am not quite sure I remember, it all seems like a very magical dream that I do not want to wake from. I love when I have the rare opportunity to explore Etsy and I love even more when I find something that makes me swoon. I found that in Amber Alexander a Vermont based artist. She has all the elements that delight me so, she creates in dreamy watercolor, she features animals and of course the animals are quite curious. I convo'd her (the Etsian version of email) to let her know how much I loved her work. I don't know if you do this ever, but I know when people convo me to say that something made them smile in my shoppe my heart fills to the brim with joy (that is so not an exagerration, even though I am unusually prone to hyperbole). It's a nice habit to get into it makes both parties feel swell. Anyways, the very thoughtful Amber responded right back and thanked me which is great because I really wanted to feature her work and didn't want to do it the impolite way and just post it without the 'ol thumbs up (I think they call it 'netequitte). I am so happy she gave the go ahead because now I get to plaster my blahg with images that will make all the other blahgs green with envy...
This little pretty here is called Bat & Mouse Game (and yes, they have names...Joe and Lola) Wouldn't this be a perfect image for a Halloween greeting?
