In the immortal lyrics of Mr. David Bowie, I am going through ch-ch-changes...Not 'the change of life', but a change of life. I have so many things going on right now and I really don't even know where to start. Some of you wise and observant lovelies may have noticed that I took my Bella Bella co. shop down for a little while, there was good reason. I couldn't exactly get the name trademarked which is fine, I have resolved myself to that fact, I mean honestly it wouldn't have been my first choice for a name anyway, it was just the first thing that popped in my head while signing up for Etsy and well I couldn't have foreen the future of my little shop. Lesson learned. If you have any inkling that you want to open a shop and perhaps run it as your main source of income one day and not just as a hobbyist, maybe look into trademarking your name, just sayin'.
With the name change came another happy accident. I got me a business partner, a cheerleader, voice of reason and a new best friend all rolled up into one fabulous human being! She's an attorney with a leaning towards helping out the indie entrepreneur and if you are looking for things that need lawyerly shenanigans like trademarks and incorporating,etc, I highly recommend her, yes I am biased but she really is the bestest, she's Julieta Kendall, attorney at law and if you want her 411 email me and I will pass it on (I have connections you see...)
We've been working on quite a lot (yes, we are both EXHAUSTED). I will reveal our new name when I can show off the new logo, truly a work of art if I must say so myself. Here are some sneak peeks into the gifts I am sending out for the artists that participated in the bright side project part 1.
