The Los Angeles Times had a mention on Sunday on a new trend in court house weddings that thrilled me, as we are going to get married sometime in the 21st century (pinky promise) at City Hall, preferably City Hall in San Francisco which is the prettiest City Hall ever, or Beverly Hills City Hall, very pretty on the outside not so pretty on the inside. There's a couple things that are holding me back, my arms being one of them, I think they look pretty ucky right now (and no willing them to get toned is soooo not working). The other thing is my hair and makeup, I don't know hair and make up people in San Francisco like I know in Los Angeles. My look is the brunette Bardot, how would I ever be able to explain that to anyone else without coming out of the salon looking like a drag queen? It's a fine line. Once I get those things solved, oh yeah the dress, that should be easy, I know I want something short (I may have ucky arms but I have great gams). Back to the last problemo--the photographer! I want some good photo's if we aren't going to go all nutty with the pomp and circumstance of a traditional wedding I want to splurge on the photo's but I have an uncontrollable need to art direct. Which is why when I saw this image I knew I wanted to recreate something like this, these photographers are based in Australia, I want to splurge but shipping someone from Australia seems a little much...

P.S. The Knot is going to create a section dedicated to creative court house weddings, so if this is in your future be on the look out a guide to cute short dresses, sassy veils and like...
