5 CREATIVE PHOTO RESOURCES AND INSPIRATION

I want to make sure that all my new Souvenir Foto students (and future one's) have plenty of inspiration and resources to help them on this journey of archiving their lives. It doesn't make any sense to keep everything bookmarked to my lonesome when I can be sharing it all with you.  This is a small collection of photo and Photoshop resources and tutorials that I found.  One of these I would like to 'steal' for a class assignment and just might...

The above image was found in the Digital Photography School Forums.  I signed up for their newsletter and it comes to my in box once a week.  I highly recommend it, it's free, has tons of great information and if you are feeling like you need additional support there is a forum you can join. They do discuss post production on the site for a myriad of programs from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom, etc.  Pick your poison and talk amongst yourselves.

PhotoJojo, again another site that I subscribe to their newsletter.  It's easier for me. They always have creative D.I.Y. photo projects. If you haven't realized yet, I am all about the D.I.Y. How creative? Well, have you ever considered using old photo's as a time machine?  Well, me neither. If you are in a photo rut, this site should bring out the beast in you.

Here's a great little site called Photoshop Girl and she has some very easy to follow video tutorials on you guessed it--Photoshop.  The above is her Lomo effect tutorial which I found quite thrilling but I am of the easily thrilled ilk.
