Monday...Need I say more? One day I will be jumping for joy when this day rolls around, maybe even start an 'I heart Monday's' list like my friend Mrs. French. I have a long way to go until I heart this day. I do heart you though, I started listening to 'This American Life' and it completely prevented a watchtower episode in the workplace. I swear, I was so close to snapping if I had to hear a techno version of Peggy Lee's 'Fever' one more time(shudder), I was going to snap. I LOVE my new find! I was intranced, maybe admittedly a little too much. It was so good! Note, don't listen to any of the more hilarious episodes because laughing hysterically by yourself in your cubicle/broom closet/office and having coffee shoot out your nostrils is not that professional, just saying...So thank you all for that recommendation, totally going to try the other suggestions this week as well.
I figured to make Monday's a little more palatable for myself and perhaps my other fine friends that are working under the glow of florescent lighting that I would proffer up some inspiration I stumbled upon whilst I was supposed to be doing something else more productive, like pay the rent or do the laundry. I hope you enjoy my pretty procrastination session...
First up, the lovely and creative artist Geninne, living a luxe life in Mexico, so dreamy is her life I want to pack up and be her neighbor. This studio would be quite perfect anywhere but that it's in an exotic epicenter makes it even more envy producing. Here's some snaps of her studio
This is her post office, hello are you serious?
I highly suggest you visit Geninne's blog, it is filled with great photo's and inspiration. My next pit stop is Yvette Inufio, swoon, I spend waaaaaay too much time on Flickr, I may need a 12 step program for my addiction...
{visit the talented yvette inufio here}
These may be the cutest cookies ever:
And I suppose my session would not be complete unless I actually learned something, that is my real joy while I go about lurking and peeking into these random creative's lives. Ariana's Becoming Mom blog is filled to the brim with awesome tutorials, tips and tricks.
Tomorrow Rachel from Moonflowers will be here with more photography advice. Here's one of her pretty pics below. I can't wait!
Happy Monday!
