We are moving and although I am losing a lot of real estate I will be gaining a large expanse of wall next to our staircase. Yes, staircase! I have been in gallery wall lust for awhile but even more so with my new photography addiction. I highly encourage you all to PRINT all those images you have on your hard drives and in your digital cameras and put them up on your walls. This looks like my current favorite, but that can change with a blink of the eye or the swing of my mood.
{image via the right bank to the left coast}For my new favorite gallery wall, I would use Julieta's handy dandy, full proof (and easy) gallery wall tutorial here. I would purchase my oval frames from a place that would allow me a little left over to actually pay my rent. No one wants to be homeless and own a gallery wall, right? Or something like that. This place looks like a fine oval frame establishment with frames that are 3.5" x 5" starting at 10 bucks. If you have a better resource I am all ears. So far I can't find the resin horses head, which I think is quite quirky and cool and I wasn't thinking of adding a horse's head to my gallery wall prior to seeing this image, now I am convinced I need one. I found this and this which could be spray painted a high gloss black without too much of an investments. Any ideas on where to get a good horse head? I mean I would take a rhino head as well, I'm not picky.
