I just got my first package delivered to my new casita--4 packs of Polaroid film all ready, willing and able to satisfy my creative sweet tooth! I would tell you who sent it to me because I am ever grateful but I don't want to burden her with the responsibility of driving to pick up more film, standing in line at the Post etc at the whim of every crazy Tom, Dick and Harry Polaroid junkie out there. We are a rare bird breed that will spend countless hours on Ebay and scouring Craigslist for a mere whiff of the film--I would like to spare her. So that was my happy surprise after a weekend that nearly brought me to tears on multiple occasions. I found these images the other day by the super talented Stephanie Williams (I have another post brewing about one of her recent projects) which reminded me of this and now that I am loaded with film I feel I must try.
