I have been wanting to write about AphroChic since it quietly stole my heart a few weeks ago. I couldn't do it because I knew the generous Jeanine Hays (founder + creative director) was going to be the finale for The Bright Side Project's 'Home Sweet Home'. I just LOVE this collection of pillows. Oversize, swoon! Belgian linen? Double swoon! I feel like making up an alias and trying to win me the above showcased beauty (but Jules would be soooo on to my ploy). DWR, the epitome of modern cool furniture (home to the Eames shell rocker anyone?), did a launch for Ms. Hays, now that's a definite seal of style approval! I am sure AphroChic will be making its mark on the design world, she has really seamlessly meshed ethnic inspiration and interpreted it in a thoroughly mod way--genius!
