I wanted to wish you all a happy, happy day! I know not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving but my thanks goes out to all of you for stopping by and saying hello. You make my day every. single. day. Yes, every day. If no one else has told you lately, you are appreciated, totally. It means so much to me and I promise to repay you when the new Blahg is re-designed and is all that and a bag of chips, you will be so happy you stuck it out with moi! It will be so much fun you may never get any work done, yea!

Okay, not technically my parents, but these other folk. I found this site called 'My parents were awesome' by Eliot Glazier. It's images submitted of [your] parents before they were uh, parents. I happen to be addicted to looking at vintage photo's of strangers. I just love to see how people used to dress and even how the photo's were printed, just an instant jaunt through time.
Okay
if my dad, grandpa or even an estranged uncle could get a pigeon to
hang out on his dapper shoulder I would be quite smitten with my
lineage. Alas, no one in my immediate family can pull this off.
These were some of my faves:
Yup you would be correct, that is Mick Jagger with somebody's parents...
Look at this tan! AND the eyeliner. Very good lookin' sassy 70's couple.

Monday's are now a shrine to cute. It's so much better than my reality of working for 10+ hours in a converted utility closet with fluorescent lighting. The image below was sent in from Kellie. This about made me fall over in my chair, you?
I believe Robin M. is just trying to kill me with her cute entries. Don't act coy baby elephant we know what you are up to we are impervious to your sweetness, enough already...
Throwing a Beluga into the mix is just as bad as adding a baby manatee, Robin plays dirty with her cute, gah! I am going down. Don't know how much more I can take...
Mademoiselle DesBisoux does not hold back she sent in a link to my very favorite baby animal photographer Sharon Montrose. That's basically cheating in the cute entry game, if it weren't random I may have had to choose her simply for this:If you have anyone on your holiday list that LOVES baby animals and fine photgraphy, Sharon's shop should be your go to but wait until Black Friday, k? She has a little incentive going:) Well lovelies, I think that should make up for more tardiness. Gosh, I can't wait for the day when my job is to post cute animals and other random things. It could happen, no?

Since I didn't have time to write yesterday, I thought a second post would make up for my absence, perhaps? I wanted to get some link love going. First up? I Heart Faces. I have mentioned this site before, newbie photographer to seasoned pro will enjoy this site, you will pick up some amazing tips + tricks. Also, I happen to be a contributor for Fix-it Fridays, which I am very honored to be part of. I am in great company and I just love to see how the pro's do their post processing. Jessica Paige happens to be one of my faves, so it makes me extra giddy. Visit you won't be sorry!
On The Bright Side Project we have our very first post in a series, "A few of my favorite things', where bloggers we love (and you will too) write about some of their favorite things. The giveaway will be one of (sometimes more!) of their favorites. We are thrilled that Melissa from 'Melissa Loves' agreed to launch! We LOVE Melissa, because she embodies the sunshine spirit, she's like a little blog fairy spreading good cheer in the comments section around the world. She really knocked it out of the park and the link love she gives is mind boggling (22 links!) All those darn links make me wanna spend my pay check in full. Seriously.
I just finished this book, it's a visual feast for anyone that enjoys printing ornamentation. It's a little history lesson + fine specimen perusing. I recommend it highly to those that fancy this sort of thing.
If you are looking for a TRUE opaque white pen, look no further. This pen RULES! I have been using it non-stop at work (our envelopes are dark, dark brown, like espresso) and this pen is just spectacular. It has a fairly nice tip, not too thick or fat. I can still print decently, although with script it can skip. It's brought to you by the same folks that created the silver metallic pen I covet. I have big plans for this pen, BIG plans...
Lovely Miss Whitney has officially gotten her stock in and is selling her Divine Twine, yes, the wait is over! My stash is on it's way and I couldn't be more thrilled. The lay person will never understand the sheer joy that this twine will make myself and my fellow Craftista's. Congrats Whitney!
Myisha of Tha Hotness and owner of Spring Cart is doing a very fun Grab Bag program to make room for new inventory. I am sure her grab bags will be well worth the surprise!
I hope your weekend is filled with fun. I shall be working (as usual) but not at my soul sucking establishment, uhm, my usual job. I will be working on Besotted Brand LLC products + testing. I am champing (as Miss Jules has pointed out is the correct spelling) at the bit to get this launched. I received some new products last night and SWOON is about accurate. My goodness. I do hope you will be as elated as we are.
xo,
Miss B.
P.S. Frenchie and cute baby animal lovers, I couldn't resist this one last link here.

To say that I love the style of the Pictorial Websters is an understatement. My whole design career is in fact heavily influenced by these intricate engravings and I own volumes upon volumes of ephemera with these lovelies in them. Above is the start of my 'Cabinet of Curiosities' series. I had them printed as giclee's on this amazing stock, scrumptious (for all those paper lovers out there). I did a Jack-a-lope, a pig with wings and had many more in mind. They bombed in my shop but I still believe that one day someone will appreciate my efforts. for now I am using the ol' dodo to announce the winner of the giveaway. I used the random generator but I do think it's funny that she mentioned moi in her comments as a crafty blog she likes. I pinky promise that it had nada to do with choosing Miss Whitney and it was all chance. Congrats to you Whitney, may you be duly inspired! If you are feeling left out of a prize hop over to The Bright Side Project, there's an AWESOME prize to be had today!
For the record I LOVED all the responses and if I had 30 more dictionaries to give away I surely would. I am so happy to have found so many new ways to procrastinate!
