I saw this the other day and got really uhm, jazzed (dating myself). It's vintage silverware from the 20's and 30's by the pound. I don't have any real silverware or China passed down from relatives. I think my lineage were more of the the paper plate and Dixie cup using variety; so my loss. I've always wanted a set of mixed-matched silverware (quaint + quirky) that I painstakingly collected over years of flea markets from around the globe. Alas, I am ALWAYS too weirded out by the thought of buying at my local flea, taking home and cleaning said silverware and then putting them to use. So when I saw this already polished and hunted collection at a relatively reasonable price I thought I would share. They would make for a nice gift as well. They have 2 piece hostess serving sets for under $35 so you can bake (or buy) a pie and include some sweet silverware. Do you know of a better place to find silverware? Were you lucky enough to inherit the good stuff?
P.S. Thinking of doing a download tomorrow, any suggestions/requests? More Photoshop brushes? Labels? Bookplates? Lemme know....
