DEXTER IS DARLING

Every time I see a photo of Dexter (Whitney's pup from Darling Dexter) I smile, he looks like a stuffed toy and I just want to sqoosh him.  I hope he does the same for you on this Monday morn.

Btw, we were lucky enough to have Whitney as a guest on The Bright Side Project where she lists some of her favorite things (which then become prizes!).  If you read Whitney's blog you know she has great taste so her faves are aces, mosey on over and give her some love.

HAPPY MONDAY!

Sheesh, it's like this squirrel is trying to melt me with its cuteness.  How? Look at how small it is first of all. I am sure I could carry it in my back jeans pocket and still have room for my Iphone and comb (that was a throw back to middle school, I digress). Look at those paws, they are almost as big as him, the little hands? Are they hands? Or paws as well?  They are holding that lil' acorn just so, and the coy look?  Enough already.  Btw, I only see giant killer squirrels in my neighborhood, I have never seen anything as cute as this. If you are trying to commit cute suicide today click on his photo, but be forewarned: only if you want to drown in adorable.

OH HELP ME! A MINI, MINI PONY!

Oh God help me, please this has got to be one of your best creations to date.  Oh I know all about the sun, moon, stars and ocean, yes the Grand Canyon and I have swooned over Big Sur and you have some pretty darn creative people, places and things under your grand belt but this?  This dear God is quite possibly the cutest creation you ever came up with.  I have essentially died and gone to heaven.  A 6lb horse?  Smaller than most newborns?  How can people not believe you exist when you so obviously do? This dear God has made me smile from my belly (if that's possible I am sure it is, I mean you would know after all you created humans and all).  Oh sigh, sigh, sigh this is too much.

HAPPY MONDAY!

Yesterday I spent nearly two hours in vain trying to clean out old photo's on my computer. Yes, the majority of them are of the world's naughtiest puppy Bella.  It seems even the ones that didn't come out as intended (the mustache one at the top) or the blurry ones that I wish weren't blurry are worth keeping.  I tried, oh yes I did.  I had been putting off cleaning out these photo's for way too long and my computer is all the more sluggish for it (which I guess it will remain as I am impervious when it comes to this darn dog and her bad posture --see the last photo, what dog sits like that?)  I hope these photo's make you smile on this Monday. For all you working under fluorescent lightbulbs 'may the force be with you', for all you lucky enough to stay home with your babies oh shucks, may the force be with you too, for all those out of work I promise you will be sitting under some florescent light fixtures soon enough! To everyone else well sheesh you are already enjoying your day so I guess just a happy Monday from Bella and myself.

P.P.S. For all those that are wondering, my boss was able to get a flight back from Europe.  Darn volcano refused to erupt again no matter how much energy I put into.

NUMERO UNO

Because Monday would not be the same without cute...This was forwarded to me by Miss Lindsey and was taken by the talented Jessica Claire who is getting a bit of cute her way as well (a sheepdog puppy, gah!!!). I love puppies so much it hurts and Uno the Frenchie pup above is one yummy lil' critter, the ears!  Oh dear...

SNICKER

This is Snicker, Snicks, Snicky doodle dandy (that last one was my take).  This little baby deer/pup belongs to Souvenir Foto School student and graphic designer Kari Beard.  We both wonder how she gets any work done with this mug staring up at her whilst she's at her computer.  Kari's obviously one tough cookie because I feel like stopping work right this sec and rolling round the floor with Snicks.  Happy Monday!

BABY CHICKENS IN THE MAIL? YES PLEASE...

Ely let me know about her friend who received her chicks in the mail the other day (go on brag Ely, I don't have any friends that got chicks in the mail this week). Ely shot the above photo and many more chick candids on her blog Ely Fair. I can't wait to have my own little chick-lette's one day, they look quite kissable don't they? The only thing is those feet (is that correct? Do chickens have feet?) are quite disturbing.  Nothing worse than bird feet, am I right?
