Yes, it is Monday and I am planning on having an amazing week. In my brief time reading these darn self-help books I have found that a lot of them purport that if I act 'as if' then I shall be. Basically, if I act happy I will be happy. Do I sound as if I have joined a cult? Perhaps the cult of positive thinking. I decided to give it a shot. I am pretty optimistic and motivated by nature but my current job situation had taken a lot out of me, (I am giving it past tense because I won't let it get me down any longer). I have made it my mission to try to focus on all the good things about my job and how I will make my move to not having one (but still be able to pay for my basics and then some). I have quite a few ideas brewing, which in the hands (or brain) of a person as impetuous as myself could be dangerous but if there is anything I have learned in my short time in office society it is patience.
One thing I believe is that if I do something creative each day I feel better about having to be under fluorescent lights for 12 hours at a time. Some of you that know me outside of the blog are scratching your heads because my job is 'technically' creative. I write, I design, I am now the staff photographer (oh how it sounds so good on 'paper', right?). I don't count this as my doing something creative, I guess I should re-word that --doing something creative for yourself each day. I have been pow wowing with a couple of Souvenir Foto School students about doing a SFS 30 day photo challenge. We haven't decided on doing it yet or if we will just be doing our usual 6 week courses but we will be doing another Souvenir Foto School session sooner than later and I am hoping you will join me. Even though I stress out about adding another task to my never ending to-do list, I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I upload that photo and a small thrill when my peers give me positive feedback. I know that people say they get this same sense of accomplishment from exercising and gosh knows I need to start a regime a.s.a.p. but let's not get crazy now, one task at a time...
P.S. I need to get photo credit for this lil' fuzzy, I will.

I seriously am conscious of not swearing. It is so not lady like and well I am. BUT, when I saw this photo all I could think was, S@%! these baby panda's are flip, flappin' jackin' cuuuuuuuuute!'. I also try not to use excessive exclamation points (unlike my current intern that only ends his sentences in one) BUT these babies call for !!!!!!!!!!!!!, no? I know you can pay for a tour to visit panda's and cuddle them, although I know in my heart that it is wrong I can't help but think it is my destiny. Seriously. I can tell you right now if someone offered me a free trip today (especially this morning) anywhere in the world all expenses paid, I would want to go squeeze me some panda, especially the baby variety. You? If you got offered a free trip today, right now, where would you go?

Tara S. emailed me about the cutest puppy-Evah in this Schwinn commercial. I say the whole commercial qualifies as cute. Oh how I would love to be riding a magic Schwinn like the one featured that turns frowns upside down and makes cell phones turn into cute baby pugs! Mondays are my days where I meet with my boss for an early a.m. meeting and he let's me know that nothing has been accomplished since last week and that he is not a charity, sigh. I have to say he does have a knack for putting together a kick butt team of workers, really a gift so I think his reality is off because of how stellar his workers are.
I am going to mentally prepare myself for this Monday and the week ahead. I am a bit tired because I was up late, late, late last night testing out a shipment of Besotted Brand loot. I have a lot to learn myself but I am really excited about showing you all the end results. The Fancy said if I would have launched in February as planned than I might have been able to quit my job already. That sounds sa-weet but the reality is that I had a bunch of bumps in the road with product not being up to snuff and research, oh gosh the research, and bad samples nearly made me want to give up but last night while I wiled my night away with the new products I was happy that I waited and didn't rush because these are so much better than I imagined. I think I may implode if I can't launch soon!

I couldn't find any baby animals cute enough to feature on the Blahg this morning. I had some contenders but nothing Blahg worthy. You want to see what didn't make it right?
The kissing piglets weren't worthy, they were cute but not that cute. I think they were trying too hard to get featured:
These bear cubs doing karate were just 'Ok" nothing to write home about. I see bear cubs doing karate like everyday (sometimes twice a day), sheesh you think they would be a little more original:
This guy thought he was a shoo in with his teddy bear looking self. Then he had to go and get his paw stuck in a toilet paper roll and give me that look like 'pick me, pick me'. Yeah, right. It's so obviously a sham, this isn't even a real dog it's a toy--duh. If I was featuring fake baby animals sure I would have him on the Blahg:
It looks like the internet is totally slacking on offering up the cuteness. Hopefully next Monday I will be able to get you some real cute. For now this is all I've got.
